Losing the War from Writing by Lee Sandlin, which I linked back in 2001 when This American Life (PBS radio show) featured an excerpt, got posted on this Metafilter thread.  The best none-first hand account of WW2.  Unfortunately, think it'll get more relevant as these years go by.

Net.wars: The empires strike back
""The Net perceives censorship as damage, and routes around it." What government could control what was said on the Net?
Maybe it's time to change that into, "Governments perceive the Internet as damage, and gang up on it .""

People Are Human-Bacteria Hybrid

Leaked Star Wars ep3 pics.  The pics are so-so, but this header photo of Chewie pawing Leia is priceless.

Dry Quicksand
"Reports that travelers and even whole vehicles have instantaneously vanished by sand have often been dismissed as products of fantasy. Rightly so? Our latest experiments show that such a dry quicksand may exist, and that objects can sink up to many diameters deep into very loose, fine sand."

Boy Dolls Gallery

So I wanted a new cast page for GHMC, model sheets for color/costume what not, the Flash ones being unusable for those... production purposes...

The theme would be "zero G," where the earth bound characters would float above and beyond this mundane world...

While trying to cram two of them per 8.5x11 page, I thought, " You dummy, you're wasting time by drawing the full figures in fanciful poses...  most of the comic'll be talking heads, just draw large Super Deformed "chibi" one at a time.  Simple, 'kay?"

  So that's what these are.

Oh and this beefcake pic I was suppose to send to... 4non Iast year (among others)...

Back to drawing Kill Harry... ciao.
