Tutorial 001- knees and dress fold

From on this thread, Tae Jensen wrote in what he wanted discussed:

First:  How a skirt falls--where the wrinkles form, and how to get the points that the fabric folds radiate from.  I try and try, and I can never get it, unless I'm working from a live model.  And even then, it's hit or miss.

Second:  How to get the knees to bunch up right when the leg is bending.  I hate that.  The bones at the end poke out in weird ways, and I can never get it right--I just draw this box for the knee and it looks bad.

And the way I tend to doodle, it doesn't look quite right with the knees the way I draw them at present: That one shows theskirt problem too.

And I think knees look fine when they're poking out a bit in a straight leg.  That's how they go generally anyhow.  And Mitsuru Adachi, whose style I have come to like, rather, draws them poking out. Anyhow, I still think these are specific issues that someone should address in a tutorial somewhere on the internet.  And I haven't found one.
